Job Title: Class 1 Driver (Day & Night Shifts Available)
Location: Thame
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 45 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers to support palletised freight operations based in Thame. Roles are available for both day and night shifts, depending on your preference and operational needs. This is a physical and customer-facing role that involves vehicle loading/unloading and occasional manual handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive to and from partner depots to collect and deliver palletised freight
Operate forklift trucks and electric pallet trucks where required
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Represent the business professionally at all times
Report delivery or vehicle issues via appropriate channels
Follow all Health & Safety guidelines
Maintain up-to-date CPC qualifications (training costs covered)
Skills & Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
CPC qualification and digital tacho card
Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with early starts or overnight runs
Previous night shift experience (preferred but not essential)
Shift:

Night Shift: Monday to Friday, hours between 16:00 – 04:00am
Overtime:

Occasional Monday support (Day shift role)
Saturday morning trailer movements (typically 7am–1pm, paid at overtime rate)
