For this role, you are also required to be a driver’s mate – only apply if you can do both driver/driver’s mate.

• Swindon
• £12.75 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Early starts: From 06:00-06:30
• Late starts: Between 12:00 – 13:30

Role Overview:

You will be delivering furniture to residential customers, working alongside a drivers mate. Some deliveries will be simple drop offs, while others may require you to carry items into rooms and assemble them in customer’s homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver furniture to customers across the region
• Load and unload vehicles – heavy lifting involved (up to 150kg with assistance)
• Work closely with your drivers mate to ensure efficient delivery and excellent customer service
• Follow all road safety and driving regulations
• Communicate clearly with customers and your team

Requirements:

• A valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
• Aged 25 or over
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Experience in multi drop or furniture delivery
• Previous experience installing furniture is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
